Location
The Tucannon valley is located in between Dayton and Pomeroy, two great, historic towns. While the distance between the two is about 15 miles as the crow flies, the drive either through or around the Tucannon valley takes on average 37 minutes.
Lewis and Clark
"This creek rises in the southwest [Blue] mountains, and though only twelve yards wide discharges a considerable body of water into Lewis' river (the Snake River), a few miles above the narrows. Its bed is pebbled... (I)n its narrow bottoms are found some cottonwood, willow and the underbrush which grows equally on the east branch of the Wollawollah [Touchet]".

The Last Resort
As far as we're aware The Last Resort, which is a store and RV park, is the only place to buy food, drinks, and fishing supplies on Tucannon Road. It truly is A LAST RESORT!

If you ever find yourself fishing at one of the 8 wonderful lakes in the Tucannon valley, then there is a chance you'll bump into the owners and some of our staff! These lakes are near and dear, or deer lake, to many.
